REDOSREDOS

Changelog

What shipped, by month, newest first. Drafted from the commit history rather than written from memory, then cut down to the things you would notice. Last shipped 24 Aug 2026.

August 2026

24 August 2026

  • BRRRR and Turnkey deals now save what you actually typed. Everything entered on those two strategies was being replaced by the defaults when you saved, and a saved one could not be reopened for editing
  • Working an ARV out from comps now fills the ARV field on those strategies, instead of appearing to do nothing

19 August 2026

  • Score a deal against your own buy box, and see the price that would bring it inside your rules
  • Work out what a property rents for from rent comps, the same way you work out what it sells for
  • Your portfolio keeps its history when a deal is renamed, instead of quietly dropping it
  • Expenses are no longer coloured as though money going out were a gain

12 August 2026

  • Set up your analyzer in four questions on first run. Each answer sets a default you would otherwise reset on every deal
  • Your strategy, experience level and target profit now persist between visits

11 August 2026

  • Four new articles, one for each of the BRRRR, ARV, DSCR and 70% rule calculators
  • Every article now carries a diagram that shows the arithmetic it is describing
  • Two comparison pages: REDOS against a spreadsheet, and against DealCheck

10 August 2026

  • The analyzer no longer loses a half-entered deal when you reload the page
  • Type 292 in a price field and it reads 292,000. Also accepts 292k and 1.2m
  • The listing price fills in the purchase price until you set your own
  • Renamed the analyzer's suggestion to "Max offer", because it is a ceiling and not an instruction
  • On a deal needing an unrealistic discount, the analyzer now says to move on instead of offering levers
  • The verdict says "Walk away" instead of "Pass", which read as its opposite next to a letter grade
  • Printed and PDF reports are legible. Every element now clears the contrast standard on paper
  • Results reordered: verdict, then the score with the numbers it is computed from, then the coach
  • A new panel explains why our net profit differs from the common spreadsheet formula, with the arithmetic
  • Deleting a deal now takes two clicks, so a misclick cannot destroy one
  • Free calculators remember what you typed
  • Enter saves in the Add Contact and Add Expense panels, and Escape closes them
  • The blog is reachable from the navigation, the footer, and every calculator
  • Expenses can be filtered per property, with a rehab burn-down against budget
  • The property type you pick decides which questions the form asks
  • Error reporting added, with personal data scrubbed before anything is sent

6 August 2026

  • AppSumo licence endpoints wired end to end
  • A comparison table against DealCheck, Stessa, Notion and a spreadsheet
  • Dashboard sparklines, drawn only from history that actually exists

5 August 2026

  • Short, revocable share links. A shared deal no longer reads as phishing
  • Shared deals and calculator results get a real link preview card
  • Real occupancy and DSCR on the Portfolio page
  • Annualised ROI on the flip branch, so a six-month and a twelve-month deal compare honestly
  • Grade F now reads "Walk" rather than "Pass"
  • Markets gets a read view and sparkline history
  • The rental calculator's ARV is editable. It was hardcoded
  • Deleting the example data now sticks for signed-in users
  • A new logo, drawn rather than generated

4 August 2026

  • Share any Deal Score, or any calculator result, as a link
  • Four more free calculators: cap rate, DSCR, the 1% rule and the 70% rule
  • Licence activation fixed. Gumroad had begun requiring a product id
  • Every emoji and glyph icon replaced with a real icon set

3 August 2026

  • A redesigned interface built on a proper token system, with analytics disclosed in the privacy policy

2 August 2026

  • Support is reachable from inside the product
  • Sign-up no longer offers a sign-in that did not exist yet

1 August 2026

  • A licence now grants exactly the tier it was bought for
  • The refund window is stated honestly: 30 days direct, 60 days on AppSumo

July 2026

30 July 2026

  • The paywall asks the server, not the browser. Tier limits are enforced in the database
  • Supabase cloud sync, so your deals follow you between devices
  • Deal workflows: a deal is a sequence of steps, not a single number
  • Sign-up unblocked after an email confirmation problem

29 July 2026

  • Saved deals are editable
  • Per-unit rent roll, with changes that can be dated ahead
  • Sign out, and a backup that makes local storage survivable
  • The dashboard shows real data
  • Example data you can load and delete on purpose
  • Reports is a real tab, and edit is reachable from the Portfolio
  • All-cash funding mode
  • Fixed on mobile: six sections were unreachable, and the board was the only way to see deals
  • Fixed: every captured email was being rejected, while the interface said to check your inbox
  • Fixed: "Send my report" sent no report. The breakdown is delivered on the page instead
  • Fixed: Beginner and Pro did nothing, and half the analyzer was dead space
  • Fixed: loading the examples twice duplicated them
  • Fixed: scheduled changes only applied on one screen
  • Property placeholders are drawn illustrations rather than stock photography

28 July 2026

  • Lifetime checkout and licence unlock
  • Five cross-linked free calculators
  • ARV from comparable sales, using the adjustment grid an appraiser would build
  • A new brand mark across the product

27 July 2026

  • The first free public calculator: BRRRR

24 July 2026

  • Projected versus actual, so a closed deal can be compared to what you modelled
  • Deal Coach: automated guidance from your own numbers
  • Address autofill, including FEMA flood zone
  • Installable as an app, plus a 60-second quick analyzer
  • Hardening pass against NaN, Infinity and empty-deal display bugs

23 July 2026

  • The Deal Score, and branded PDF reports

22 July 2026

  • New Construction as a strategy, and a 1031 exchange toggle
  • The full BRRRR exit rental model
  • Deals pipeline, Portfolio, and a Contacts directory
  • Markets scorecard, a Schedule-E expense ledger, and a live dashboard

21 July 2026

  • REDOS begins. The flip and BRRRR engine is ported from the original spreadsheet cell for cell, and checked against it
  • Rental, turnkey and wholesale strategies
  • Tax modelling: depreciation, capital gains and after-tax return, with CSV and PDF export
  • A lender directory that fills its terms into the analyzer

What's next

What comes next. No dates, because a missed one would be worse than none.

Pursue the deal

A good score currently ends the workflow. Offer, counter, status and next action, so the analysis leads somewhere.

An article for every calculator

Five of the ten have one. The flip, cap rate, cash-on-cash, wholesaling and rent-to-value calculators are next.
